At a wedding, when does the frontal veil get pulled up?

Actually, the veil is not lifted until after you have been pronounced man and wife, and your may kiss the bride, it is an old tradition, so as to add an air of mystery until the wedding is complete, still upheld nowadays in many religions, and in my opinion the best idea, keeps everyone interested, and is a 'WOW' factor to conclude the ceremony.
