What can i do about this problem with my son?

I want to revise my question and hope wends answers. My son had a head injury several years ago and we found out he has a cyst on the frontal lobe of his brain.( we did not know he had this until he had the injury which was there since birth) He was doing fine until I got sick last year. He has a bad temper and was violent last week and he is staying with his dad until I get him into see a psychiatrist. My sons dad and I have been divorced for 14 years . My mom suggested I should try to talk to our doctor and set him up for help. I went to our doctor (she's only been our doctor for a short time) and explained what was going on with my son,his history(head injury) and asked if it was this cyst. I asked her if she would set up an appointment with a psychiatrist. She said let me work on it and I will call you. She never told me what she was thinking about doing and left. I thought she was going to come back but instead her nurse said we call you. A day later the office called and blew me out of the water. what we discussed and thought she was going to do was totally different from what we discussed. I was so upset and called a psychiatrist and set up an appointment for my son myself. This doctor did NOT listen to me didn't even think about his old head injury. I know she is concerned about my safety but I wish she would of told me what he was going to do. I feel like this doctor does not want to listen to me because this same doctor set up appointments with specialists for me without discussing it with me and did not ask who I wanted .I am so upset with this doctor and wished I would of stayed where my son and I was at. What can I do? Am I overreacting? I do not mean to sound rude but please only serious answers and i hope wends day answers
