It also presents a problem that the infection can grow to the point of needing serious medical treatment, such as surgery, instead of simple antibiotics. If your body could have gotten rid of it on it's own, you wouldn't have an infection, and you wouldn't be posting about it. See a medical professional. There are certain drugstores that offer in-store clinics with nurse practitioners who can take care of this for a modest fee, even without any insurance. Free clinics are also an option.
